RTDs cable series

Conventional insulation RTDs with rigid metal tube are suitable for not particularly severe working conditions such as vibrations, mechanical stresses and high temperatures. Platinum RTD is placed inside the metallic tube and directly connected with the conductors of the extension cable. The maximum working temperature varies according to the insulation material of the two conductors: fibre glass, silicone , PVC and PTFE, with or without shield. RTDs with cable exit can be equipped with welded threaded connections, bayonet connections and compression fittings.
